Pipe Welder

Looking for people experienced in pressure vessels and piping systems; both fitting and welding experience is an asset. Our work is performed in our shop based in Concord and our onsite work is performed around the GTA area. Rates are based on experience.

 

Experience

Welding Stick, Mig, Tig, Positon 6G, blueprint reading, layout/fitting, pressure vessels/piping systems, shop/onsite work

Stainless steel/Carbon steel

 

Job Summary

  • Fabricate and weld both pressure and non-pressure pipe
  • Welding structural steel, handrails, etc.
  • Safe handling of material using a forklift and crane
  • Process raw materials working from blue prints, and specifications
  • Apply safety precautions and procedures in the performance of duties in accordance with the Occupational Health % Safety Act and company procedures

 

Work Experience

  • 5 years' experience in a custom/job shop environment is preferred

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • TSSA certification (current or previous)
  • Able to work independently or with minimal supervision
