Investing In Neighbourhoods - Eligibility Criteria:

Investing in Neighbourhoods job opportunities are in not for profit community organizations and enable OW participants to: increase their skill level, develop contacts with employers, and obtain references with the goal of securing permanent employment.

Job Description

The Client Services Associate will support the Client Services team.


Responsibilities:


Ensure the client services area is maintained in a presentable manner
Create a warm and welcoming environment, and be ready to intake clients promptly at 8.30 am
Provide excellent customer service during the client intake process
Support Client Service Volunteers as they help clients choose their items of furniture
Showroom Guiding clients individually when support is needed
Participate in Client Services Daily Volunteer Huddles
Process client financial transactions (furniture delivery fees)
Schedule and coordinate client deliveries and receipting
Book client referral appointments
Identify and resolve discrepancies related to furniture deliveries
Communicate with clients and/or agency workers regarding furniture concerns when needed.
Answer phones and follow up with emails and voicemails consistently throughout the day
Offer support & assistance to the Client Services Manager and Client Services Coordinator
Perform other administrative duties related to the position as requested by Management

Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong attention to detail
Willing and motivated to learn
Strong Interpersonal skills to create and maintain good relationships with community members and partner agencies
Committed to being on time
Must be customer-service oriented and comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Experience in handling credit card, debit card, and cash transactions
Ability to problem solve and react quickly to situations and inquiries
Some experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Internet
Experience in Salesforce software is an asset, but not required.
Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to attend meetings and/or special events.
